About
Formed in Seattle, WA, Kings and Queens is a rock band led by singer/songwriter and bassist, John Terjeson. The sound is a convergence of passionate, melodic vocals mixed with bass-driven strings, over the backdrop of a rock anthem. The three-song EP, Convergence, debuted a taste of the symphonic rock sound, in acoustic form. The full sound, coming soon in the the full-length album, This is Where I See You, is a tapestry of guitars and upright bass, thick vocal harmonies painted over lyrics that ignite.
On The Netherlands Tour in 2019, Kings and Queens performed throughout the country, including asylum seekers’ centers with those taking refuge from horrendous circumstances. The band is passionate about partnering with anti-human trafficking efforts, and those who have suffered injustice and devastation—singing for the one whose voice has been covered up, ready to emerge a King or a Queen.
